What entry restrictions apply due to the COVID-19 coronavirus and what documents must be presented?

Entry is allowed for citizens of Cameroon, passengers with a residence permit, passengers with a visa;
the passenger must have a certificate of full vaccination or
it is necessary to have a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 (valid for 3 days). The requirement does not apply to passengers under the age of 5;
passengers are subject to testing for COVID-19 upon arrival.

Crossing the border without a biometric international passport – yes or no?

Entry of citizens of Ukraine to the territory of Cameroon is carried out on the basis of a foreign passport (both biometric and one that does not contain biometric data), the validity period of which is valid for the next six months at the time of crossing the border, as well as on the basis of a visa issued in the prescribed manner .

What to do if the validity period of the foreign passport expires?

Citizens of Ukraine have the opportunity to extend its validity at the Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria. The passport is extended by placing on page 2-5 of the foreign passport the entry “Passport validity extended to __.__.202_”, which is affixed with the seal of the Consular Division. The maximum period of validity of the passport is 5 years.

What to do if you have a child without a foreign passport?

If a child under the age of 16 does not have a passport document, information about the child (namely, photo, first and last name, date of birth and unique number (if available) can be entered in the foreign passport of the father/mother or legal representative.

Border crossing with pets

To enter Cameroon, cats and dogs must have a Veterinary Certificate issued no more than 48 hours before departure and proof of rabies vaccination. Other animals are not allowed to enter. A tax of 5000 WAF per animal is charged.
