The country’s decision to accept refugees from Ukraine
Entry to citizens of Ukraine is permitted by the government under general conditions:
Citizens who have completed a full course of vaccinations are allowed to arrive on the island, provided they have medical insurance that covers cases of coronavirus and a negative PCR test made 72 hours before arrival. Repeat testing on the 5th day of stay in the country is mandatory.
Citizens who have not completed the full course of vaccination are allowed to arrive on the island on the condition that they book a hotel and stay in the booked room for self-isolation for 14 days, as well as having medical insurance that covers cases of coronavirus and a negative PCR test made 72 hours before arrival . Repeat testing on the 7th and 14th day of stay in the country is mandatory, after which, in case of a negative result, it is possible to freely move around the country.

Mauritius government has not created special centers to provide assistance to citizens of Ukraine. Social support for refugees (temporary housing, food, employment opportunities, etc.)

If the child crossed the border with a birth certificate, and the mother / father has a foreign passport (biometric or old model), it is possible to enter information about the child in his passport. You need to have with you the original passport and a copy of the passport, the original and a copy of the birth certificate and two 3.5×4.5 photo cards (if the birth certificate was issued by a country other than Ukraine, it must be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country that issued it).
