Spanish and simultaneous translation: three months of complete immersion

Month 1: Dive into the world of Spanish

Let’s say “¡Hola!” the basics of the Spanish language. In the first month, you will go from the alphabet to the simplest everyday phrases that will help you have simple conversations. Basic grammar and vocabulary will be your reliable assistants on this exciting journey.

Month 2: Deep in the grammar jungle

The second month is the time for grammatical time travel: all 12 Spanish tenses are waiting for you. Learn how to talk about the past, present and future by creating your own sentences without memorizing phrases and words. We will build up your vocabulary so you can communicate fluently on a wide range of topics, from everyday life to culture and travel.

Month 3: Practice and Mastery of Simultaneous Translation

The final month will be dedicated to honing your simultaneous translation skills. Various exercises will help you improve your hearing and translate texts quickly. By the end of the course, you will be able to translate by ear with ease and be proud to call yourself a Spanish simultaneous interpreter.

Defining the level and goals:

Assessment of the initial level of Spanish language proficiency and determination of specific learning objectives. This helps to develop an individual learning program that meets the needs and expectations of each student.

Grammar and vocabulary:

Teaching the basics of Spanish grammar, spelling rules and expanding vocabulary. This includes learning the 12 tenses, declensions, pronunciation rules, and other basic elements of the language.

Conversational practice:

Conducting conversation practice lessons to develop communication skills in Spanish. This may include dialogues, role-plays, discussion of topics and participation in real situations of communication in Spanish.

Listening and reading:

Training in the perception and understanding of Spanish speech through listening to audio and video materials in Spanish. There are also classes in reading Spanish texts of various levels of difficulty to develop reading skills and understanding of the written language.

Writing practice:

Exercises and tasks aimed at developing writing skills in Spanish. This may include writing essays, letters, reports, and other texts with proper use of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.

Cultural study:

Acquaintance with Spanish culture, customs, traditions and history. This helps to understand the context and cultural characteristics of the Spanish language and provides a more complete immersion in the language environment.

Exam preparation:

Assistance in preparing for Spanish language exams such as DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera), SIELE (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española) and other Spanish language exams. As part of this service, classes are conducted that focus on mastering the format of the exam, practicing test items and developing the skills necessary to successfully pass the exam.
